Further to Keith Moore’s recent return to Sierra Leone we thought we’d up-date our customers on progress.
Trenches ready for pipework in front of the luxury villas.
The site at Tokeh Beach is now well under way and trenches have been dug in readiness for contractors M&S Water Services from Luton to install the water ring main. Pipe and materials supplied by SDE.
Drainage work will soon commence once the containers from SDE have cleared customs in Free Town. This work is scheduled to be completed before the rainy season starts in earnest, in the next month or so.

Whilst he was there Keith managed to secure a contract for the supply of water supply materials bringing water from the newly constructed dam to the hotel site. The water supply for the local village will also be upgraded and refurbished and sewage treatment will also be installed in the village along with a new school building, supplied and constructed by Sweet Salone Investments.

A series of charity concerts have been arranged by the Teenage Cancer Trust to promote the launch of the “Specialized” album, which features many bands doing modern versions of classic Specials songs.
On Saturday 17th March, SDE was proud to be suppliers of transport, labour and sponsorship for this event, hosted by Bedford Athletic Rugby Club.
Playing, free of charge, were, ‘Semi Skinned’ from Luton, ‘By the rivers’ from Leicester and ‘The Ska Masters’ (pictured), from the Bedford area.
A huge thanks to all of the bands, Ben the DJ, Bedford Ath. RFC, all of the helpers, punters and donators.
An excellent night was had and approximately £2000 raised for this good cause.

SDE is pleased to announce the winning of a contract to supply environmental and drainage products to hotel development sites in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
The start of re-generation for the whole country.
Following Keith Moore’s recent visit to the Freetown Peninsula, orders were gained to supply sewage treatment plants to be manufactured by Marsh Industries and shipping is to commence within the next week.
Hands are shaken on the deal with Adrian Labor, project manager for Tokeh Resort.
Following on from this SDE have also been asked to supply drainage solutions for both foul and storm water and water supply pipework to supply fresh water to the beach side development by Sweet Salone at the Tokeh resort on the Freetown peninsula.
This prestigious hotel development is due to be opened by the end of the year and combined with another site at Lungi Airport will be the start of much re-generation of this beautiful and friendly country.

SDE has been involved in the support of many local youth sport activities in the past.
This year SDE is pleased to be kit sponsors for the under-8 age group of Mid Beds Tigers Junior F.C.

Mid Beds Tigers are represented at all age groups, playing in local league and cup youth football competitions.
Here at SDE we are always delighted to be associated with community sport and especially pleased to support Mid Beds Tigers.

New Rain Cells for Home and Garden use are now available.
These robust GRP Tanks can be installed in a pea shingle surround in normal ground conditions, or a concrete surround for high water table areas.
For Ease of Installation the Units Have Two Lifting Eyes, A Flat Bottomed Base & Only Normally Needs A Peas Shingle Surround.

SDE and Marsh Industries are pleased to introduce a new range of contract rain water harvester units. Using, exclusively, PPP pumps and built to the highest standards. These tanks come in two sizes 2800lt and 3800lt and two systems.
The MR1 is a basic system for garden irrigation and outside use only and the MR2, which is an internal system for toilet flushing, washing machines and external use.
